Ian Book proved to be a legitimate NFL prospect at the Senior Bowl

  • Washington Football Team, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks

One of the more interesting prospects at the 2021 Senior Bowl was Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book, who set the school’s record for wins during his time in South Bend. Book is not considered a top draft prospect at quarterback, or even a Day 2 pick, but he made some noise at the Senior Bowl.

Book not only showed his incredible ability to make plays with his legs, but he stood in the pocket and delivered the ball with accuracy, something that is going to help him during the draft season. He will need a solid Pro Day, and to nail his interviews, but all signs point to him being a Day 3 pick when all is said and done.

There are a bunch of teams that could use Book, whether it is for depth, or to challenge to be a possible backup. The Washington Football Team and Los Angeles Rams are hitting the reset button at quarterback and could use depth behind their starters, and the Seattle Seahawks have had success with a quarterback of Book’s stature.
