Notre Dame football revamped the wide receiver room

The Notre Dame football team will have a new man under center this upcoming season, this after Ian Book won more games for the program than any other signal-caller in school history. While players like Avery Davis, Kevin Austin, and Braden Lenzy return in 2021, there is a trio of wideouts who could make some serious noise in Year 1.

Lorenzo Styles Jr. is one of my favorite recruits coming in this season, as he has the ability to take the lid off a defense at any time. He has already enrolled at Notre Dame, getting a head start on his collegiate career, and once Deion Colzie and Jayden Thomas get to South Bend, this is a position group that suddenly has a ton of playmakers.

Last season, Javon McKinley stepped up in a big way, as did transfer Ben Skowronek, two guys hoping to get picked in the 2021 NFL Draft. There is a lot to like about this trio coming in with Tyler Buchner, as the Irish could have a devastating passing game to go along with a tremendous group of running backs as well.

These three will get a chance to get on the field in Year 1, giving the Irish offense a brand new dimension in the passing game.
