Notre Dame football exciting future matchups: Alabama, 2028 in 2029

In Alabama, it’s somewhere between sacrilege, treason, and plain stupidity to wonder if anyone could be better than the Bear, Paul Bryant. Still, the legend is left to watch himself be surpassed by another genius coach at Alabama, Nick Saban. Bryant coached Alabama for 25 years, winning six National Championships, and Saban has been there for 14 now, winning six for himself.

His pace is blowing Bryant out of the water, who only had three through 14 seasons.

Of course, by the end of the 20s, Nick Saban, Brian Kelly, or both coaches may have moved on to retirement. The landscape of college football may change with NIL and transfer rules coming to pass, and both teams’ rosters will have turned over several times.
