For the next two-plus months, there are going to be so many 2021 NFL Mock Draft floating around the internet, so it is always fun to check in on some of them. For the Notre Dame football program, they have plenty of talent heading to the NFL this draft cycle, including a few that could hear their names called in the first round.

Without an in-person Scouting Combine, teams are going to have to rely on the interview process, Pro Days, and game tape, leaving some players at a disadvantage. However, for one Notre Dame football player, he put more than enough on tape to be a first-round pick this April, though his landing spot is very much up in the air.

Notre Dame football star heading to Miami?

In a recent mock draft from Josh Edwards at CBS Sports, Notre Dame football star Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah goes from South Bend to South Beach. With the No. 18 overall pick, the Miami Dolphins make JOK their second of two first-round picks this April, adding one of the more talented linebackers in this draft class.

The Dolphins are coming off a nine-win season in 2020, a year that saw them challenge for the playoffs up until the final weeks of the season, giving hope to the Miami faithful. Thanks to a trade they made with the Houston Texans for Laremy Tunsil, they also hold a top-5 pick, so JOK landing in South Beach at No. 18 puts him on a team that will be very competitive in 2021.

Linebacker happens to be one of the positions where the Dolphins need help, allowing JOK to come in and start right away. He has everything you look for in a three-down NFL linebacker and would be joining a team with a defensive genius at the helm in Brian Flores.

As we inch closer to April, there will be plenty of different first rounds being mocked, but JOK is consistent in terms of a player always listed within the first 32 picks. There are some really great landing spots for him in 2021, and Miami is definitely one to be excited about if you are fans of the Notre Dame football star.
