The Notre Dame basketball team was riding high entering their matchup against Clemson this past Wednesday, a game that ended up being postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Tigers basketball program. Hopefully, the momentum has not been stunted too much, as the Iris head to Syracuse to take on the Orange in ACC play on Saturday.

To keep the good times rolling, the Irish will have to beat a solid Syracuse team, and a win would push them to .500 for the first time since early December. This has been a roller coaster of a season, but a win on Saturday will help bolster their case for the NCAA Tournament, and we have some bold predictions for the matchup.

Five members of Notre Dame basketball in double-figures

The Notre Dame basketball team can fill it up on any occasion, and on Saturday, they should be able to find their shots against this Syracuse defense. The Irish do a good job of getting everybody involved, as Prentiss Hubb has done a much better job distributing the ball as of late, and the results speak for themselves.

This is a team that is trending in the right direction, and on Saturday, I see five members of this roster scoring in double figures. It seems like every game someone steps up and leads the way in terms of scoring, and against this zone, I like that player to be Dane Goodwin today, lighting it up from beyond the arc.
