Notre Dame football: Ideal NFL spot for Aaron Banks, No. 1

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks struggled to play consistent football this past season, though they did come out on top of what ended up being a bad NFC West division. In the playoffs, they were quickly bounced by the Los Angeles Rams, as their offensive line struggled to keep star quarterback Russell Wilson upright.

Wilson has already come out this season and said the team has to do a better job in protecting him, and that is something they certainly will work to improve on this offseason. Drafting a player like Banks helps them shore up one of the bigger issues up front along the offensive line, getting one of the more NFL-ready offensive guards in this draft class.

In Seattle, Banks would have the opportunity to play for one of the better head coaches in football and protect a future Hall of Famer in Wilson. Based on the fact that the Seahawks do not have a third-round pick, it could see Banks land in the second round this April, which would be a best-case scenario for him.
