The Notre Dame Basketball team will look to get back on track on Tuesday, as they travel to Louisville to take on the 11-5 Cardinals. Both teams are coming off losses their last time out, as the season dwindles before the start of the ACC Tournament next month, so a win Tuesday night is going to go a long way in their seeding.

Notre Dame Basketball looked to be cruising to a victory over Syracuse this past weekend, only to see Buddy Boeheim go nuts late to secure an eight-point victory for the Orange. Louisville was run out of the gym by UNC on Saturday, as the Tar Heels took care of business at home with a 40-plus point victory.

Here are the three keys to victory for Notre Dame Basketball Tuesday night.

Notre Dame Basketball needs to put the pressure on a young Cardinals team

The Cardinals have won 11 of their first 16 games, and are led by a solid trio of freshman who does most of their scoring. Carlik Jones leads Louisville with over 17 points per game and is joined by the likes of David Johnson and Dre Davis, as the three of them score more than 50 percent of the points for this Louisville offense.

Notre Dame Basketball counters with a veteran-laded group, one who needs to keep the pressure on this young Cardinals squad throughout if they want to come away with the victory. This is a Notre Dame team that averages four steals a game, and they may need to bump that number up to six or seven if they want to win Tuesday night.
