Notre Dame Football: 20 biggest wins of the Brian Kelly era

15. Notre Dame 36, Syracuse 3 (2018)

Played at Yankees Stadium, this Shamrock Series game turned out to be a beatdown of Notre Dame over the only decent Syracuse team in the last couple of decades. Dino Babers had the perfect formula, with quarterback Eric Dungey running his offense as well as anyone has at Syracuse.

Unfortunately, early in the game with Notre Dame, Dungey’s back locked up and he had to leave the game early in the first half. From there, the Irish rolled.

It was 20-0 at halftime on the back up a strong performance from Ian Book. Chase Claypool, behind six catches and a score, also played a key role for the Irish, giving Book a constant option in the passing game. Of course, there really was no one who was anything but a bright spot for Notre Dame. If there was a complaint it would be giving up a fourth-quarter field goal to blow the shutout…and those uniforms.
