Notre Dame Football: 11 prospects invited to Scouting Combine

Offense: QB Ian Book, OT Liam Eichenberg, OG Tommy Kraemer, OL Robert Hainsey, OG Aaron Banks, WR Javon McKinley, WR Ben Skowronek, TE Tommy Tremble

After a solid showing at the Senior Bowl, Ian Book is going to get more chances to show that he not only belongs in the NFL but should be a player selected across the three-day event this year. He has the talent to make plays with his arm, and his legs, something coveted at the NFL level, and there is no reason he won’t eventually be a backup somewhere, and someone who can push for a starting job down the line.

Joining Book at the Combine will be four members of his offensive line, as guards Tommy Kraemer and Aaron Banks will be there, along with tackles Liam Eichenberg and Robert Hainsey. Eichenberg is seen as a player who could sneak into the first round, and after showing incredible versatility at the Senior Bowl, Hainsey is on more radars than before.

Wide receivers Javon McKinley and Ben Skowronek are both invited, and though Skowronek injured his ankle during the Senior Bowl practices, and could actually make a move to tight end. Tommy Tremble was a bit of a head-scratcher when he declared for the NFL Draft, but he has been all the rave so far, and some believe he could be the third member of this Notre Dame football program off the board this year.
