Notre Dame Football: 5 must-add prospects to the 2022 recruiting class

RB Nicholas Singleton, Governor Mifflin, Reading, PA

Switching over to the offensive side of the ball, 6’0″ 210 lbs running back Nicholas Singleton is certainly a weapon that Lance Taylor and co. would be thrilled to welcome this cycle. The big back from the Keystone state has 34 offers, one of the most recent ones being the Crimson Tide of Alabama.

In his case, the top-3 that have been the recruiting front runners for quite some time now is Penn State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.

Ranked 42nd in the country according to 247 sports, Singleton runs with force and has instincts that only elite running backs possess. He is not shy of contact, and you can see that in his film where he is constantly running through the arms of opposing defenders.

His tape shows that he can make strong cuts and accelerate through holes and in space. The tailback also has an element of patience that reveals his knowledge of playing the position.

Irish fans definitely want to keep an eye out for this kid because he is truly special. A backfield of Kyren Williams (possibly), Chris Tyree, Audric Estime, and Logan Diggs would be happy to add another weapon in Singleton to the arsenal.
