Notre Dame football: Ideal NFL spot for Tommy Kraemer No. 1
Los Angeles Chargers
Finally, we land on the Raiders division rival in the Los Angeles Chargers, a team that has to get better in a big way up front along the offensive line this offseason. They have spent some draft capital on the offensive line in recent drafts, but questions remain at both guard and tackle, and Kraemer would be someone who could come in and bolster their interior.
During the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chargers found their franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert, and now the plan going forward is to find a way to keep him upright. If they can do that, he has the potential to be an outstanding quarterback in this league for many years, as was shown by his record-setting rookie season in 2020.
In Kraemer, Los Angeles would be able to replace Trai Turner, who is reportedly on the trading block this offseason. He would also team with young guards in Dan Feeney and Forrest Lamp, two 2017 Day 2 draft picks that started all 16 games for the Chargers this past season, but could be cap casualties after the 2021 season.
