There are plenty of Notre Dame Football players who need a good Pro Day on March 31, but these three in particular need to shine in front of the scouts.

We are officially three weeks away from Notre Dame Football getting out on the field in front of the scouts for their Pro Day, another hurdle for those looking to punch their ticket for the NFL Draft. Sure, there are some guys out there who are locks to be drafted, and just need to improve their stock a bit, but for some, this could be make-or-break time.

In total, 11 members of the Notre Dame football team were invited to this year’s Combine, but more than those 11 will be on the field at the Pro Day. This is the most important job interview of their lives, and they cannot afford to have an off-day.

Here are three players who cannot afford a bad Pro Day on March 31

One player not invited to the Combine, but will certainly be on the field for the Pro Day is cornerback Nick McCloud. Playing his only season with the Irish in 2020 as a transfer, McCloud was just what this program needed at the position group, and his last time out, at the Hula Bowl, he nabbed two interceptions.

McCloud has good size and has a nose for the ball, something scouts look for in terms of a cornerback at the next level. For McCloud, it will really come down to how well he not only runs, but shows his athleticism, as he is a borderline seventh-rounder right now, but plays a premium position, and has room to move up.
