Notre Dame Football is losing talent on both sides of the ball this offseason, but some freshman should come in and make an instant impact.

Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame Football staff hauled in 27 high school recruits from across the country this past recruiting cycle. Ranking 9th in the country according to 247 sports, Notre Dame’s 2021 class was headlined with big-time recruits from all over the United States that will most definitely benefit the program at some point in time.

Last year, we saw freshman like Michael Mayer and Chris Tyree establish themselves as key pieces to the Notre Dame offense, and a surprising breakout from 3-star corner Clarence Lewis, who stepped in to fill the role that Tariq Bracy once filled. Those players were key in the Notre Dame Football team going undefeated during the regular season.

With a ton of talent leaving for the 2021 NFL Draft, the Irish will need some of their freshmen to step up this Fall, and they certainly brought in the right collection of talent to do just that. On both sides of the ball, the Notre Dame Football team was able to bring in four-star talent, setting the program up for success this season, and in the future.

Today, let’s take a look at 3 new faces who Irish fans will likely know pretty well by the end of the 2021 season.
