The Notre Dame Football program will have its Pro Day on March 31, 2021, and it is certain to be packed with top NFL executives.

The Notre Dame Football program has won a ton of games over the last four years, winning at least ten contests in each season, and going to two College Football Playoffs. Over that time, the program has produced elite NFL talent, and as we inch closer to the 2021 NFL Draft, a lot of that talent is already starting to show out.

Just look at the Senior Bowl, for instance, as Notre Dame Football blew scouts away up and down the board, with players like Daelin Hayes, Ade Ogundeji, and even Ian Book turning heads. Overall, it was a good starting point on the NFL Draft journey, and with the Pro Day up ahead, you can expect that to be a big-ticket event for NFL executives from all 32 NFL teams.

Notre Dame Football has a ton of draft prospects in 2021

The Notre Dame Football program had 11 players invited to this year’s ‘combine,’ which is a testament to this group in itself. During the Pro Day, which will be televised on national television on the NBC Sports Network, the Irish will have 14 players working out, all of which could be considered legitimate draft prospects.

Within that group are multiple players who have been mocked in the first round, including Liam Eichenberg, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, and Aaron Banks. Tight end Tommy Tremble has rocketed up draft boards this offseason, and guys like Tommy Kraemer and Robert Hainsey have the versatility upfront to help an NFL team’s offensive line in many ways.

Then there is Ian Book, who showed out at the Senior Bowl, proving he can deliver the ball downfield. A good Pro Day will lock him in as a Day 3 NFL draft pick, which would make this offseason a success for the all-time winningest quarterback in program history.

The Irish have built a solid program under Brian Kelly, and with how they are recruiting lately, they could be ready to take the next jump and join the elite like Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson. Still, this is a time to reflect on a special group that is leaving South Bend, and we wish all of them the best heading into the 2021 NFL Draft.
