Notre Dame Football: Q&A with 4-Star commit Tyson Ford

The Fans

Notre Dame holds a tradition for college football like no other and it’s a blessing that the university is located in South Bend, Indiana. The culture and tradition would be mitigated without the presence of an incredible fanbase. I talked to Ford about the fans, what they should expect and get excited about.

Soffa: “The fans are already in love with you and are excited to get you on campus. What should the fans be excited about? What are you going to bring that we don’t see (in the locker room, the intangibles)?”

Ford: “…I’m going to bring leadership. I’m going to bring courage and excitement. You know, it’s going to be fun to play with the people but it’s going to be business as well… I’m going to come in playing and make a name for us, so that’s what I’m going to prioritize at the end of the day. But, I’m going to go there and try to win, obviously give 100% of my effort, and (possibly) win us a National Championship.”

As large of a specimen the young man is, he is truly exceptional with both his skills and how he conducts himself, coming off as a gentle giant. Notre Dame fans should expect a perennial leader on the football field and an overall outstanding individual to be enrolling this coming December.

His excitement and love for Notre Dame simply cannot be contained and he’s undoubtedly already become an asset for this football program. Let’s. Go. Irish.
