Notre Dame football: Full 7-round 2021 Mock sees nine Irish selected
By Brad Weiss
CBS Sports recently released a 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft, one that saw nine members of the Notre Dame Football team selected.
The Notre Dame Football team is going to have a lot of players selected during the 2021 NFL Draft, and they will go everywhere from the first round to the end of Day 3. Recently, CBS Sports writer Ryan Wilson put out a seven-round mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft, and the Irish had representation in nearly every round.
All told, the Irish saw nine players selected across the seven rounds, and we take a look at each one here.

First Round: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, No. 28, New Orleans Saints
The first member of the Notre Dame Football team to be selected was Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who is widely regarded as one of the best linebackers in this draft class. JOK has been mocked everywhere from being a top-10 pick to all the way at the bottom of the first round, which is where Wilson has him landing in his mock.
While it is always good to see a Notre Dame football player go in the first round, I believe this is very late for a talent like JOK. Some believe he is the most versatile linebacker in this draft class, and based on how pass-happy the NFL is now, who wouldn’t want a linebacker who possesses his coverage skills?
At the end of the day, I believe JOK lands in the top half of the first round somewhere.
