Notre Dame football: Full 7-round 2021 Mock sees nine Irish selected

Day 2

Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft will consist of two rounds, the second and third. Across these selections, we are planning to see plenty of Notre Dame Football players selected, and in Wilson’s draft, he has three players going before the draft finishes up on Saturday.

Round 2, Pick No. 55, Liam Eichenberg: Pittsburgh Steelers

The second member of the Notre Dame football program off the board is Liam Eichenberg, who some feel could also go in the first round alongside Owusu-Koramoah. When it comes to the offensive tackles in this draft class, he is one of the more NFL-ready, and many teams are lacking depth at the position group, including Pittsburgh, where he lands at pick No. 55.

Round 2, Pick No. 56, Aaron Banks: Seattle Seahawks

It does not take long for the Notre Dame faithful to see another player come off the board, as All-American offensive guard Aaron Banks is picked right after Liam Eichenberg. Banks is another Irish offensive lineman who could come in and start right away, and I believe is a top-3 interior offensive lineman in this draft class.

Round 3, Pick No. 77, Tommy Tremble: Los Angeles Chargers

Rounding out Day 2 is tight end Tommy Tremble, who has made quite a rise up draft boards since shockingly declaring early for the 2021 NFL Draft. He is a perfect tight end for the NFL level, as he is an elite blocker, can be a weapon in the passing game, and plays with incredible passion. He would also be a solid security blanket for Justin Herbert.
