The Notre Dame Football program could have a top-10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, as it appears the Denver Broncos are locking in on their star LB.

We are officially one week away from the 2021 NFL Draft, and the hope is, that the Notre Dame Football players eligible have done enough to improve their draft status. We have seen plenty of movement in terms of mock drafts over the past few months, and some prospects have had meteoric rises, while others have fallen a bit.

While there have been players moving all over the place, including in different rounds, one player who seems like a lock for the first round is the Notre Dame Football team’s star linebacker.

Notre Dame Football could have a top-10 pick

We have seen star linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah mocked almost everywhere in the first round, from pick No. 17 to the Las Vegas Raiders, to pick No. 26 to the Cleveland Browns. However, we have recently seen a trend in him being selected in the top-10 picks, most notably to the Denver Broncos.

The selection by the Broncos makes a lot of sense, as they definitely need help at the linebacker position, and picking at No. 9, they may not have the ability to improve at quarterback. Drew Lock has had his moments as the starter for the Broncos, but they could upgrade at the position this year, especially if a player like Justin Fields or Trey Lance falls to them.

That is unlikely, however, because teams are going to be moving up in the first round to get them, as they are both franchise quarterbacks in waiting.

JOK going in the first round would be huge for not only the player but for the Notre Dame Football program, who is going to be well-represented across the three-day event. He is a perfect linebacker for today’s NFL, as he can tackle, is elite in coverage, and has the football IQ to be a defensive captain sooner rather than later.
