The Notre Dame Football program should have a big impact in the 2021 NFL Draft, and here are three bold predictions for what could go down.

The 2021 NFL Draft will be a special one for the Notre Dame Football program, as they will likely be represented in nearly every round. The Irish are seeing some special players leave via the NFL Draft, after two College Football Playoff appearances, and it will be interesting to see where these players wind up.

After waiting months since the end of the college football season, the time has arrived for the 2021 NFL Draft, and we have some bold predictions heading into Thursday’s first round.

Tommy Tremble is the second TE off the board

When he declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, many felt that it could have been a mistake for Tommy Tremble, who was not even the most productive tight end on the Irish’s roster last season. That honor went to Michael Mayer, but apparently, Tremble was speaking to the right draft experts, because he has risen in a big way up draft boards since declaring.

In fact, some believe he is the No. 3 tight end in this entire draft class, which is crazy when you consider how coveted he was at first. Since declaring, people have actually gone back and looked at his tape, and his athletic ability and most feel he is going to be a perfect fit at the next level thanks to his ability to catch and run with the football, and how elite he is at blocking.

As it stands, some have Tremble going as high as the second or third round, but my bold prediction is that he will be the second tight end off the board, passing Penn State’s Pat Freiermuth for that honor behind Florida’s Kyle Pitts.
