Notre Dame Football: 2021 NFL Draft predictions from the SlaptheSign.com staff

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB)

Connor McJunkin: Round 1, Pick 17, Las Vegas Raiders

Owusu-Koramoah fits the mold of tomorrow’s NFL linebacker. He can run with slot wide receivers and tackle from sideline to sideline. His versatility makes him a weapon in any defense and he would be a perfect fit on Jon Gruden’s defense in Las Vegas.

Jack Leniart: Round 1, Pick 19, Washington Football Team

Owusu-Koramoah is the only Notre Dame player who feels like a lock to be selected in the first round of the draft. Since he is a bit of a hybrid, it is hard to define an exact fit for him on an NFL defense. However, he can be a valuable asset for a team that wants to create a role for him. It would be cool to see him play for the Washington Football Team not far from his hometown of Hampton, Virginia.

Andrew Hall: Round 1

Owusu-Koramoah, one of the biggest physical freaks in this year’s draft, will get picked somewhere in the top 20. To me, he feels like a better fit for a defense that is already established. Because he does not fit a traditional position, I think he falls closer to the number 20 overall pick. That said, I think he is more talented than half of the prospects who will be picked before him.

Brad Weiss: Round 1, Pick No. 18, Miami Dolphins

After going offense with their first of two first-round picks, I like the Miami Dolphins to turn to the defensive side of the ball, filling a major void at linebacker. JOK will be an absolute star playing for Brian Flores, who is a defensive genius, and will use him all over the field.
