Notre Dame Football: 2021 NFL Draft predictions from the SlaptheSign.com staff

Tommy Tremble (TE)

Connor McJunkin: Round 3, Pick 84, Philadelphia Eagles

Tremble is one of the most physical and athletic tight ends in the country, and he has seen his draft stock rise tremendously since last fall. He is considered to be one of the best run-blocking tight ends in college football. He can also make plays in the passing game and would be a versatile weapon for the Eagles, who may need to replace Zach Ertz shortly.

Jack Leniart: Round 3, Pick 104, Baltimore Ravens

Tremble is best known for his blocking ability. However, his size and athleticism make him an attractive prospect for NFL offenses. There is a chance Tremble will get drafted as early as the second round, but he will most likely have to wait until the third round to hear his name called. I think he would be a great fit in Baltimore, where he can utilize his blocking and athleticism in an offense with a dynamic quarterback.

Andrew Hall: Round 3

Tommy Tremble certainly would have benefited from returning to Notre Dame and becoming a more productive pass-catcher. Tremble has all of the potential to be an all-pro player in the NFL, but he does not have the consistent on-field stats to show that. I think NFL scouts see his potential, but I don’t think teams will be willing to draft him in the first two rounds.

Brad Weiss: Round 3, Pick No. 73, Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have to do a good job in protecting Sam Darnold and giving him weapons, and in Tommy Tremble, they get a real security blanket at tight end. He would be a solid weapon in the passing game, and an excellent blocker for Christian McCaffrey, giving the Panthers a dangerous offense.
