Notre Dame Football: 2021 NFL Draft predictions from the SlaptheSign.com staff
Tommy Kraemer (OL)
Connor McJunkin: Round 4, Pick 129, Seattle Seahawks
Considering how much Russell Wilson has complained this offseason about the hits he has taken, the Seahawks would be silly to not prioritize the offensive line in this year’s draft. Kraemer would be an immediate upgrade for Seattle’s interior offensive line at guard. If the Seahawks can also grab a tackle earlier in the draft, Wilson would certainly be happy.
Jack Leniart: Round 7, Pick 238, Dallas Cowboys
I think Tommy Kraemer will need to have some patience as we progress through this year’s NFL Draft. He is in a similar position that former teammates Alex Bars and Sam Mustipher were in a few years ago. His is most likely to be a day three pick or go undrafted. I think Notre Dame offensive linemen have a pretty damn good reputation, and I think that helps Kraemer’s chances of getting drafted.
Andrew Hall: Round 7
Tommy Kraemer will certainly benefit from Notre Dame’s reputation of consistently producing NFL offensive linemen. He has the flexibility to play several positions if needed, but I think he fits best in the interior.
Brad Weiss: Round 7, Pick No. 252, Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have to make a priority protecting Russell Wilson, who basically runs for his life every game. In Tommy Kraemer, they are getting a player that will eventually be a starter in this league, and I do not know why he is not generating more draft buzz than he is.
