The Notre Dame Football program saw five players signed as UDFAs after the 2021 NFL Draft, and we rank them by who can make the 53-man roster.

During the 2021 NFL Draft, nine members of the Notre Dame Football team heard their names called. From the second round through Day 3, the Irish were well represented, as they became the school with the most draft picks all-time.

With that said, five other players were signed after the draft, bringing the total number of Irish players to the pros to 14. Here, we rank them by which players will actually make the 53-man roster of their specific teams.

5. Shaun Crawford, Las Vegas Raiders

While it is odd to say that the Las Vegas Raiders could not use Shaun Crawford’s services at safety, it is actually a position group where the four guys to make the roster are set in stone. Johnathan Abram was a first-round pick in 2019, and the team traded up to select Tre’Von Moehrig in the second round in 2021.

Also, they added Karl Joseph to the fold this offseason via free agency, and 2021 late-round pick Tyree Gillespie is slated to make the roster as well. The good thing for Crawford is, the Raiders need depth, and while he likely will not make the 53-man roster, they could bring him on as a practice squad guy, and when it comes to the Raiders, injuries and inconsistent play always give depth guys a shot later on.
