Notre Dame Football: Ranking which 2021 UDFA will make the 53-man roster

4. Brock Wright, Detroit Lions

Brock Wright is one of three members of the 2020 Notre Dame Football team that was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft. Wright is a guy who was a huge recruit when he came to South Bend and ended up playing in 48 games for the school.

A dominant blocker, Wright could carve out a role at the NFL level, especially on special teams. This is a Detroit team that is rebuilding under new head coach Dan Campbell, and he is going to love what Wright brings to the table every day in practice.

However, there is not really a spot for him on the 53-man roster, so like Crawford, he may have to find a job somewhere else, or accept an invitation to the practice squad. Based on his skill set, Wright could have a future in the NFL, but for the 2021 Detroit Lions, that is going to be a tough roster to crack based on his position.
