Notre Dame Football: Ranking which 2021 UDFA will make the 53-man roster

2. Nick McCloud, Buffalo Bills

When it comes to the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs are the No. 1 team, but the Buffalo Bills are right there behind them. The Bills have solid talent on both sides of the ball, and quarterback Josh Allen continues to improve and show he is one of the better young signal-callers in the NFL, giving them a legitimate franchise guy.

On defense, the Bills have some outstanding talent, including at cornerback, where Tre’Davious White has been outstanding since coming into the league. White is as good as it gets in terms of the cornerback spot, but the depth behind him is weak, and that could lead to Nick McCloud earning a roster spot this summer.

McCloud is an elite athlete, and he stepped in and played a big role in the Irish going undefeated during the regular season in 2020. I believe he takes full advantage of this opportunity, flashing his tremendous speed, and catching the eye of Sean McDermott, one of the better defensive-minded head coaches in the NFL.
