Notre Dame Football: 5 new potential impact players on offense in 2021

No. 4: WR Lorenzo Styles Jr.

A lot of the talk surrounding the Notre Dame offense this offseason has been about who is going to step up and be a key at wide receiver. The Irish have some veteran talent on the roster, including the likes of Kevin Austin, Braden Lenzy, and Avery Davis, but they also have a nice group of true freshmen coming in as well.

One of those true freshmen, Lorenzo Styles Jr., is an exciting prospect, and one that could end up rocketing up the depth chart this summer. Last season, both Ben Skowronek and Javon McKinley led the way in receiving from the wideout spot, and with both gone, this is a wide-open position group.

Styles is the kind of big-play performer that this team needs, especially considering they have an elite running back and tight end that will open things up on the outside. He also has shown that he is ready for the college game, coming in and playing very well this spring, so look for that to continue in the summer months.
