Notre Dame Football: 5 new potential impact players on offense in 2021

No. 3: OG Rocco Spindler

During the 2021 NFL Draft, and in free agency after the draft, the Notre Dame Football program saw four starters from the 2020 team start their NFL careers. Both Liam Eichenberg and Aaron Banks were selected in the second round, while Robert Hainsey was taken in the fourth by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After the draft, Tommy Kraemer landed with the Detroit Lions, so needless to say, it is time to reload up front along the offensive line. The Irish should be able to do all of that and more, as they have a nice blend of returning veterans and true freshmen coming in that are ready to dominate on Day 1.

One of those players is Rocco Spindler, who has already been ranked as a top-50 offensive guard in college football by Big Game Boomer. He has shown since landing on campus that he is not just an ordinary true freshman, and with him and Blake Fisher in the fold, the offensive line is set for years to come.
