The Notre Dame Football team is looking to get back to the College Football Playoff, and here are four must-win games in order to do so.

The Notre Dame Football program will have a lot of eyes on them this season, as they replace a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, and are turning to a new quarterback. The Irish have the talent to come in and replace the 14 players lost to the NFL, but it is going to take a lot of growth this summer.

With the schedule slated to kick off on September 5, the Irish will have to take advantage of the next couple of months if they hope to remain one of the top teams in the country. With that said, we look at four must-win games this upcoming season.

No. 4: at Florida State

No place to start like the first game of the season, as we will get an early look at all the changes the Irish have made to the starting lineup. The first game is on the road, as the Irish take a trip to Doak Walker Stadium, playing against the Florida State Seminoles and new signal-caller McKenzie Milton.

For those who do not remember, Milton was an all-time winner at UCF before tearing up his knee and will look to prove he is back to full strength against Notre Dame. The Irish have a veteran-laden defense in 2021, and this is a game where they can go on the road in primetime on a Sunday night and really make a statement.

Getting out to a 1-0 start is crucial.
