Notre Dame Football: 4 biggest concerns against FSU in the opener right now

What will McKenzie Milton bring for the Seminoles

When it comes to the 2021 Florida State Seminoles, one of the big question marks, just like with the Irish, is the quarterback position. While they do not have a question as to who will start like Notre Dame does, they do have the question as to what they will get out of their starter.

A few years back, McKenzie Milton had his knee blown up against the University of South Florida, but before that, he was a two-time AAC Offensive Player of the Year, and basically did not lose as the starter for UCF. Now, he has to prove he is not only healthy physically, but also mentally, as an injury like the one he suffered could have long-term effects in both areas.

In Week 1, with so many question marks on both sides of the ball, this could end up being a scary matchup for the Irish. Hopefully, the summer months will bring some clarity, but going on the road in primetime against a big-time program is the recipe for what could be a real dogfight down in Tallahassee.
