Back to the visit
Smith: Were there any other Notre Dame commits or prospects you spent time with?
"Ford: “Yes, Jalen Snead was up there with us, and it was just me and him. The other recruits, they’re going to have a whole bunch coming up here on the weekends. I remember when I was there, they told me it was going to be 13 (recruits) on the upcoming weekend. So, me and him just wanting to have kind of have a day focused around us so we can really, just to look at all Notre Dame football has to offer, you know, just without any other distractions. We can really take in what they really have to offer. So, I think we have a great chance of getting him. he’s a great player and he will definitely make an impact.”"
Smith: “Yes Sir, we’re pretty excited about that recruitment as well.”
Smith: Did you have any hosts this weekend?
"Ford: “I did Kyren Williams and Justin and Jason, I don’t how to pronounce their last name, but they were great. We hung out with them, they live off campus. So they were really just normal people, you know, it’s great seeing college football athletes and seeing them on TV. So, it was good seeing how they prepare for when you see them on TV and seeing a little behind the scenes, what they do at home. They are just normal people, so.”"
Smith: “Yeah Notre Dame football, something that differentiates them from other schools is how it’s a family. It’s not just the team. So it’s pretty amazing that you got to experience that with players that are already there. So you get to see the true family and how you get to be a part of it.”
"Ford: “That was definitely noticeable, and it was different from other schools being there. There’s no malicious competition going on. It’s just a straight brotherhood. They don’t care who succeeds. They all want to succeed. So, that’s great.”"
