Notre Dame football: Which wide receiver has the most to prove in 2021?

Who has the most to prove?

While Davis would be an excellent choice for the Notre Dame wide receiver with the most to prove in 2021, that honor should go to Braden Lenzy. This is a player who came to South Bend with so many expectations, and now that he is finally healthy, we may actually get to see all that potential that made him such an exciting recruit back in the 2018 recruiting class.

Remember, this was a kid who was a four-star talent, and the tenth-best athlete in the country according to 247Sports.com, and has still yet to reach his potential. He has shown flashes of brilliance across the last two seasons, racking up five touchdowns through the air and on the ground, but now is the time for him to step up and dominate for the Irish.

This is one of the more interesting position groups on the roster this summer, and it will be interesting to see who actually steps up and leads on the outside. For the Irish, they need to establish the passing game to open things up for their elite running backs, and Lenzy just may end up being the guy to lead the way.
