In a recent 2022 NFL Mock Draft by Pro Football Network, five members of the Notre Dame football program go within the first four rounds.
The Notre Dame football team is preparing for the 2021 college football season, and many believe it will be another successful season in South Bend. The Irish are coming off another berth in the College Football Playoff, but there is a lot of work to do after losing so much talent to graduation and the NFL this offseason.
In a recent mock draft over at Pro Football Network, Oliver Hodgkinson went with a four-round projection, and for the Irish, more of their elite players realized their NFL dreams.

Notre Dame football star lands at No. 4 overall
There was only one Notre Dame football player selected in the first round in this mock draft, and it comes as no surprise that it was safety Kyle Hamilton. Across the next nine months, you are going to hear a lot about where Hamilton could end up in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and in this one, he lands in the Big Apple, selected by the New York Jets.
The Jets would actually be an excellent landing spot for Hamilton, who could help a secondary that is young, but that has a great coaching staff under new head coach Robert Saleh. This is a defensive guru at the head coach position, and in Hamilton, he would be getting someone who could captain his defensive backfield for the foreseeable future.
