Day 2

As was the case during the 2021 NFL Draft, the Notre Dame football program is on full display in Day 2, with three of their players going across the second and third rounds. In 2021, the Irish saw five players go within the second and third rounds, as Liam Eichenberg, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Aaron Banks, Robert Hainsey, and Tommy Tremble were all selected.

In Hodgkinson’s mock draft, running back Kyren Williams gets the party started at No. 51 overall, as he goes from South Bend to South Beach as a selection of the Miami Dolphins. Twenty picks later, Jarrett Patterson joins Hamilton in the Big Apple, but he lands with the New York Giants, helping solidify an offensive line that has been a work in progress for some time now.

Finally, Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa goes to Baltimore at pick No. 99, landing with his former teammate on the edge in Daelin Hayes. The Ravens have been working to build up this defensive line in recent years, losing Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon this offseason, and if Tagovailoa-Amosa makes a solid transition to the outside, he would join a solid young rotation in Charm City.
