Notre Dame football: Irish should have no issues against Navy

Bottom Line on the Midshipmen

Navy is going to be better than they were last season, and they’re never an easy team to play. Xavier Arline should take a major step forward, and if he does that then he’s going to put the Midshipmen in a good position to get back to a bowl game.

Unfortunately, this is the hardest schedule that Navy has played in a very long time, and that is going to make progress feel slow for Navy.

Too Early Prediction

Navy might hang around with Notre Dame football briefly, but they don’t have it in them to play with Notre Dame for two halves. The Irish offensive line should dominate Navy. The Notre Dame football linebackers just need to stay gap sound and stick with their assignments. If they do that, then there shouldn’t be any issues here.
