The Notre Dame football program has plenty of former players looking to carve out NFL roles this summer, and here are some Week 2 preseason games to watch.

We got to see some former Notre Dame football players make their NFL preseason debuts this past weekend, and some turned heads for the right reasons. With only two preseason games left for each team, the pressure is on for these guys to survive cutdowns, and hopefully, make an NFL 53-man roster entering Week 1 of the regular season.

With that said, here are three Week 2 preseason games to watch.

Baltimore Ravens at Carolina Panthers

One of the bigger surprises in terms of players leaving the program early this offseason was Tommy Tremble, who was the No. 2 tight end for the Irish last season behind Michael Mayer. However, he must have been getting good information, because he ended up being drafted in the third round, and has landed in a perfect spot with the Carolina Panthers.

When all is said and done this offseason, Tremble is going to be the No. 2 tight end in Carolina behind Ian Thomas, but the Panthers run two-tight end sets, so he should see the field a lot. In Week 2, he will be looking to expand on his solid debut, one that saw him score the Panthers’ only touchdown of the game, as he looks to continue to move up the depth chart.
