Notre Dame football: NFL Preseason Week 2 games to keep an eye on

Jacksonville Jaguars at New Orleans Saints

The Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints will close the Week 2 slate of preseason games, and this one is going to be televised nationally on ESPN. Ian Book played the entire second half for the Saints in Week 1, and will likely get some reps in this one as well, as he goes up against a former foe in Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence looked good under center for the Jaguars in their preseason loss to Cleveland, and the team will be looking to get him extended reps, as they have not decided on a starter just yet. We hope that Book can again see some extended time, as he tries to lock down that No. 3 role in New Orleans, and he has a decent showing last week against the Baltimore Ravens.

There are plenty of games to keep an eye on this week, as players continue to try and make roster spots, but these three jumped out at me when looking at the schedule. The Notre Dame football program is inching towards their first game against Florida State, but for these guys, their time is now.
