The Notre Dame football team is looking to return to the CFP this season, and here are some things we know heading out of fall camp.

With fall camp coming to a close, the Notre Dame football team will now turn their attention to Florida State, which they take on in Game No. 1 on September 5. The Seminoles are a program that has been down as of late, but they are a proud program and will have the luxury of playing at home against the Irish.

This has been a wild offseason for this Notre Dame football program, as 14 players entered the NFL, leaving a bunch of holes at some crucial positions. No position is more crucial than the quarterback spot, as Jack Coan takes over for Ian Book, the school’s all-time winningest signal-caller.

Still, there is a lot to like about this team, as they have All-American talent on both sides of the ball and some veterans who are going to lead the way. Coan was a great addition as a graduate transfer, and he has some elite weapons to work with on offense, though questions remain in terms of wide receiver.

Here, we take a look at three things we know coming out of fall camp.
