The running back duo is going to be special

The Notre Dame football team may have some question marks on offense, especially at wide receiver, and with a revamped offensive line, but running back is not one of them. In fact, the tandem of Kyren Williams and Chris Tyree could be the best in college football this season, as they both do so many things well.

For Williams, he is the kind of three-down back that is going to excel at the next level, as he can run the ball, is good in the passing game, as well as being a tremendous blocker. Tyree is that game-breaker that every team needs, and while only a true sophomore, he has proven that he can be explosive with the ball in his hands.

This offense is going to put up points, and if Jack Coan can play the way he did at Wisconsin, protecting the ball and staying within himself, the Irish should be able to control the clock. Williams proved he can be the feature back in 2020, and with Tyree adding onto his role, you can expect both players to dominate in 2021.
