Notre Dame football: 4 FSU Seminoles who must be stopped in Game No. 1

The Quarterback

Shifting our focus to the most important position in football, the Florida State Seminoles have a very important decision to make this week. The coaching staff must choose between McKenzie Milton, who set the country on fire during his time with USF, or Jordan Travis, who proved to be quite the playmaker for Florida State last season.

Both men are dangerous, possessing the ability to hurt a defense in so many ways, and the Seminoles just may want to play both of them against Notre Dame. Before his injury, Milton was one of the best quarterbacks in the country, taking UCF to national heights, and I believe that if he is healthy, he is going to be the starter against Notre Dame.

From there, it is anybody’s guess as to whether they rotate signal-callers, or have packages for whoever is not the starter.

Kicking off the season on the road against Florida State is going to be a tough task, no matter how much better the Irish should be in 2021. The Seminoles may have been down last season, but there is some solid talent on this roster, and this is going to be a good first test for a lot of players making their starting debuts for the Irish this Fall.
