Virginia’s Offense

Virginia is lucky to have one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the ACC in Brennan Armstrong. The lefty quarterback brings dual-threat capabilities, and with a lot of experience under his belt, Armstrong will look to take the next step in Charlottesville.

Still, a career 59.4% completion percentage just won’t be good enough in 2021.

The running back room was fine, but nothing special at the same time. This committee of running backs is going to need to step up and be better than average, otherwise, they’ll be letting teams tee off on Armstrong.

A solid offensive line with a lot of experience should be able to help there. In particular, Chris Glaser at the guard position is a mauler who the Irish defensive line needs to be ready for.

The Cavaliers were expected to have a good one-two punch at wide receiver until Lavel Davis tore his ACL. The outside threat is now out for the season, but they still have incredibly productive slot receiver, Billy Kemp. Kemp had 67 catches in just ten games last season.

Maybe their tight end Tony Poljan can become a bigger threat in the passing game to help Virginia find more consistency.
