The Notre Dame football team in 2021 is loaded with talent, including some underrated players who won’t be underrated for long.

Notre Dame football, being one of the premier programs in the country, is known for its premier players. After all, Notre Dame’s 104 consensus All-Americans is the most of any program in college football. Seven Heisman Trophy winners are the most of any team in college football.

520 NFL Draft picks are, as you may already know, also the most for any program ever.

That, of course, isn’t a thing of the past. Notre Dame still produces talent like this every single year. Players like Kyle Hamilton and Michael Mayer become household names as they dominate opponents. This is, however, a team game.

It’s a game where you need those underrated players around the standouts to prop everyone up. These are the underrated players who make a team great and allow you to accomplish your goals over the course of the season.

These five players have all the potential in the world, and they’re all underrated due to different circumstances from one another. They all bring unique elements to the table, and hopefully, by the end of the season, they won’t be so underappreciated anymore.
