Notre Dame football: 5 reasons the Irish will beat Florida State

Kyle Hamilton is the best player on both rosters

The Florida State Seminoles have two players vying for the starting quarterback job, and we will not know until kickoff tonight as to who it will be. Both Jordan Travis and McKenzie Milton have had success at the collegiate level, and at one point, Milton was regarded as one of the more dynamic signal-callers in the country.

Last season, Travis was dynamic in his own right, leading the Seminoles in rushing, so the defense has to be on their toes if he is the one that gets the starting nod. Luckily for the Irish, they have strong talent on all three levels of the defense, including a player who many believe to be the best defensive back in college football.

On Sunday night, Kyle Hamilton is going to be a difference-maker in this game, especially if the Seminoles get down early and have to go to the passing attack more times than they would like. If they do that, Hamilton is as good a ball-hawking safety as there is in the country, and you can be sure he will put his stamp on this one when all is said and done.
