Notre Dame Game Today: Notre Dame vs. Florida State injury report, schedule, live stream, TV channel, and betting preview for Week 1 NCAA game.
The time has arrived for the Notre Dame football team to take the field in a regular-season game, which they will do tonight against the Florida State Seminoles. The Irish are fresh off their second College Football Playoff appearance in the last three seasons, and though there are numerous changes on the roster, they should once again be battling for a spot in the playoff again this year.
With a new quarterback in Jack Coan, as well as a brand new offensive line, the Irish offense is going to have to work out some of their issues on the road in Week 1. The defense, led by new defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman, should be one of the best in the country, led by an All-American safety in Kyle Hamilton.
Tonight, they will battle it out against a Florida State team that was down last season, Mike Norvell’s first season at the helm, but one that is not short on talent. In fact, they have some All-American talent of their own on both sides of the ball, though they have yet to choose a starting quarterback as of this morning.
Notre Dame Injury Report vs Florida State Week 1
The Notre Dame football team has come through the preseason in fairly good shape in terms of injuries, outside of the terrible injury to linebacker Marist Liufau. Liufau has been ruled out for the season after injuries to his lower leg, and JD Bertrand will start at the WILL spot in his place.
Kurt Hinish Injury Update
While Liufau is out for the season, the Irish had to deal with other injuries in recent weeks to Kurt Hinish and Braden Lenzy. After dealing with a concussion, Hinish is ready to go, and will play a key role as the Irish look to contain the tough running game of the Seminoles in Jashaun Corbin and Lawrance Toafili.
Notre Dame vs. Florida State Odds and Betting Pick Week 1
WynnBET’s Week 1 NCAA odds have the Notre Dame football team as seven-point favorites against the Seminoles, even though they will be playing on the road inside Doak Campbell Stadium. The over/under is set at 55.0 for the matchup as well, meaning there is going to be a lot of points scored on Sunday night, and hopefully, most of them come from the Irish.
Last season. the Irish beat Florida State 42-26 on their way to an undefeated regular season.
