The Notre Dame football team kicks off their home schedule today, taking on the Toledo Rockets inside Notre Dame Stadium trying to move to 1-0.

The Notre Dame football team welcomes the Toledo Rockets to Notre Dame Stadium today, as both teams are looking to move to 2-0 on the young season. The Irish will be looking for a much easier game this time around, after beating Florida State in overtime and losing some key players in the process.

The Irish have some key players out in this one, as left tackle, Blake Fisher has been ruled out for the next eight weeks. Starting as a true freshman, Fisher looked the part early on against the Seminoles, but will now be replaced by Michael Carmody in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future.
