The Notre Dame football team ran their record to 3-0 on Saturday, and here are the three Studs and three Duds from the 27-13 victory.

In a game like the one played between Notre Dame football and Purdue, there are always going to be players who stand out, and players who falter. That’s the nature of close games with rivals who are looking to make a statement.

It’s also an indicator that the Irish are still trying to figure a lot of things out, including who they are, and what their identity is as a team in 2021.

Now, it’s time to take a look at those players who were studs for Notre Dame this week, and the players who were duds as well. None of this, it should be pointed out, is a shot at any individual player, it’s just about drawing attention to those players who played great games, and those who are capable of playing a better game than they did this week.
