The Notre Dame football team takes on Wisconsin in Week 4, and here are four reasons why they will beat the Badgers on Saturday.

It will be game No. 4 for the Notre Dame football team on Saturday, this time a College Gameday matchup inside Soldier Field against the Wisconsin Badgers. This has the potential to be a real make-or-break game for the Irish, who are 3-0 on the young season but have looked up and down so far in 2021.

With that said, here are four reasons Notre Dame football will win on Saturday.

Irish D vs. pedestrian Wisconsin O

The Wisconsin Badgers put up 34 points their last time out, a 34-7 victory over Eastern Michigan, but there was not much explosiveness to their offense. In fact, quarterback Graham Mertz has yet to throw a touchdown pass this season, this after only scoring rushing touchdowns two weeks ago, and being held to ten points against Penn State.

The truth is, this Wisconsin offense is pretty pedestrian, and the Notre Dame defense is good enough to put the clamps on them the same way the Nittany Lions did. If they try to run it down the throat of the Irish defense, it is not going to yield the same result as it did against a lesser team like Eastern Michigan.
