4 reasons the Notre Dame football team will beat Wisconsin in Week 4

Jack Coan gets the best of Graham Mertz

In terms of storyline, Jack Coan going up against his old team is going to dominate the headlines, and you can be sure it is the featured story for College Gameday. The truth is, Coan was an outstanding player for the Badgers a few years ago, leading them to a Big Ten title game before an injury forced the program to turn to Mertz.

On Saturday, it will be a revenge game for Coan, as this will be the only time in his career that he will be able to go up against his old teammates. After a record-setting debut against Florida State, Coan has come down to earth the last two weeks, but you can expect him to be fired up in this one.

In fact, I believe that this will be the best game he plays all season, as he is going to be loaded with emotion, and his new teammates are certainly going to want to deliver him this victory. Quarterback is the most important position in sports, and on this day, the Irish will have the advantage in that department.
