Notre Dame Football vs. Wisconsin: 3 things we learned in Week 4

The Irish may be underrated

As stated earlier, going into the matchup against Wisconsin, nobody gave the Irish a chance to win this game. Across national media, the Badgers were picked to beat the Irish, and the oddsmakers had them as nearly a touchdown underdog against Wisconsin inside Soldier Field.

Even in the AP Poll, the Irish had fallen outside of the top-10, going into this game as the No. 12 team in the country, this after starting the season as No. 8. All of this was caused by the fact that the Irish struggled against the lesser competition through the first three weeks of the season, but that narrative should change this week.

The truth is, this was a total team effort, as the Irish got the job done on both sides of the ball, and had another huge touchdown on special teams thanks to the electric Chris Tyree. With the coaching staff finding their groove, and some very winnable games ahead, do not count the Irish out in terms of the College Football Playoff talks just yet.
