3 reasons Notre Dame football will beat Virginia Tech in Week 6

Talent

The Virginia Tech Hokies have talented players on both sides of the ball, including an outstanding cornerback in Jermaine Walker, and solid linebackers. They also have talented wide receivers, and a quarterback who can make plays once in a while, but overall, their collection of players is not in the same ballpark as the Irish.

That will prove huge in this matchup, as elite players like Kyle Hamilton, Kyren Williams, Isaiah Foskey, and Michael Mayer will prove to be the difference. If the Irish can get the offensive line to finally pull it together, there is no way the Hokies will have an answer for this offense, and you can be sure that the defense is going to put together an elite effort on Saturday night.

Overall, the Irish are the better team, and despite being listed as an underdog in this one, they should have enough on both sides of the ball to gut out a win. Sure, going on the road is tough, and they will need to play four good quarters of football, but heading into the bye week, the Irish will be back on the winning track.
