Notre Dame football: Where does Kyle Hamilton land in the latest 2022 NFL Mock Drafts?

Pro Football Network: No. 3, New York Jets

Oliver Hodgkinson does a tremendous job with his mock drafts over at Pro Football Network, and he has Hamilton going in the top-3 picks. His latest mock, posted this weekend, has Hamilton as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, landing with Robert Saleh and the New York Jets.

There is no doubt that the New York Jets will be picking pretty high in the first round next April, as they are a complete mess on both sides of the ball. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has looked solid at times, but the Jets have had to battle injuries, and inconsistent play all season long, and currently have only one win.

New York does have a solid safety in Marcus Maye, but all signs point to him hitting free agency this offseason, leaving the franchise with a void at the position group. Adding Hamilton would not only fill that void but give the franchise a better long-term option while solidifying one of the weaker secondaries in football.
